I have always loved problem solving, and like all of us, while using technology all throughout school and life in general, I have run into problems! Whether that be a website that just doesn’t make sense, or an app that malfunctions, it’s annoying, and I wanted to fix that. I also noticed that many other people were experiencing frustration when it came to technology. I am a strong believer that everyone should be able to easily use any website, which is why I think it is important to have UX/UI designers in the world!

While studying at the University of Minnesota, I came across a bootcamp that offered training in UX and UI. I had no clue what UX/UI even was, but after learning about the process of understanding users and empathizing with them in order to efficiently solve their problems/create new solutions, I knew that this was right up my alley.

Emerging from this bootcamp, I feel prepared to handle any problem that is thrown my way. In these six months, I completed four case studies, all targeting various parts of the UX/UI path. These case studies were front-end to back-end, and even included coding (👎)!
